Egypt Trip Pt 3 - Ballooning

We were lucky enough to get to do a sunrise hot air balloon from the west bank of the Nile over the Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. Absolutely awesome!!!!

Hot Air Ballooning! Another thing off the "Jackson's things to do before he dies list"

It's amazing how abrupt the green land from the Nile's water ends and the sandy dry desert starts.

Looking out towards the Valley of the Queens.

An aerial view of the Al-Deir Al-Barhari Temple minus the hoards of tourists that are all still asleep this hour of the morning.

The sun making an appearance.

Looking out towards the Valley of the Kings.

I think this sunset looks very African for some reason. (maybe cause it is in Africa)

The piece of material stopping us from plummeting to our deaths.

A really beautiful way to see a day in. Definitely worth the 4am wake up.

The lasses enjoying the view, the warmth, the tranquility and life in general I think.

Safe and sound on the desert!! A boy and his donkey asking for money about 1 second after touchdown.
